I had my D & C and Hysteroscopy on Thursday. Since then, I have been in pretty bad pain and have been bleeding a lot. My Dr. told my husband that the cramping should be minimal and that I wouldn't bleed much, but that is not the case. It feels like a really bad period and I am bleeding bright red. It isn't gushing, but it is definitely more than I expected.
Those of you who have had this procedure, did you experience the same thing? I am just wondering if I should call the Dr. or wait it out for my body to heal.

I had bleeding for about two days then spotting for a couple more days,and then my period returned two weeks after the actual surgery. Not sure what is "normal"
I had a D&C after a miscarriage. I barely bled for a day after and had very minimal cramping. My dr did give me a scrip to control the bleeding incase it was excessive. If I were you, I'd call the dr for peace of mind.
If I were you, I'd call. Since the doc said what to expect and that's not what's happening, I'd err on the side of caution.

Oh no. I would call. I had a similar experience and it was fine but my RE was glad I called.
I am hoping you're feeling better by now, but I probably would have called. I ended up back in the hospital with an infection after my D&E, so if all possible, you'd want to avoid that.
